After Dark

ESP Presents was the creator and eleven-year programming partner of After Dark at the Modern Wing, a series designed to attract a new, young professional demographic to the Art Institute of Chicago. The event consistently sold out, drawing a crowd of 1000+ who came to explore the museum after hours and rock out to DJs, VJs, and live performance artists who brought the exhibtions to life, each event. In the year prior to COVID, After Dark had a record success of sell-outs, welcoming nearly 9,000 young professionals to the museum while introducing them to fifteen up-and-coming musicians and bands. After Dark alumni artists include Dan Black, Gavin Turek, The Cool Kids, Twinsmith, Autograph and more.
